Why I Built This Website: Tesla Productions Story

February 10, 2026

Tesla Productions didn't start with a business plan. It started with a single Unity project and a curiosity about whether I could actually ship something people would download and use.

The Name

People always ask about the name. Tesla — as in Nikola Tesla, not the car company. He represents exactly what I aspire to build toward: ambitious inventions, high-voltage energy, and building things that feel like they shouldn't be possible yet.

Productions felt right because this isn't just one product. It's a studio — a place where ideas become shipped products.

Why a Studio, Not Just an App

Many developers build apps in their spare time. I wanted something different: a proper digital studio with a portfolio, a brand, and a presence. Not just because it's more professional, but because it creates accountability.

When you have a studio name, you ship. There's no "I'll get to it eventually." Tesla Productions means we deliver.

The First Product

Jungle Strike was the proof of concept. A complete mobile game, built solo, from art to code to marketing. Getting it live on Google Play — and watching real people download and rate it — changed how I think about software.

It's not about the code. It's about the impact.

What's Ahead

Tesla Productions is now building client websites, exploring new app ideas, and growing the Jungle Strike playerbase. If you're reading this, you're probably looking at our portfolio site — built with TanStack Start, React 19, and deployed on Netlify.

This is just the beginning.
